Etiquette for a duo/group shoot with a model I just met? by studio_v » 3 Sep 2026 #1

Got a shoot coming up with a photographer I don’t know. Any etiquette tips for a duo/group shoot with a model I’ve only just met?

— Ask what the studio supplies.

Honestly, if they go cagey when you ask about references, the release, or bringing someone along, that's your answer. The good ones never mind.

— Safe rope photographs better.

Check what rigging and props the studio provides so you're not both hauling the same kit.

— Bring a shot list, leave with a portfolio.
